Glenmore Plaza Hotel - The Glenmore Plaza Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Avalon, the only town on Santa Catalina, a popular island off of southern California. Commonly known as Catalina, the island is a picturesque tourist destination, although much of the island was purchased in 1975 by the Santa Catalina Island Conservancy and now is preserved against development.
