The Music Center is comprised of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, The Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Each year, the Music Center welcomes more than 1.6 million people to performances by its four internationally renowned performing arts companies including Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Master Chorale, Center Theatre Group and the LA Opera. Additionally, the Music Center welcomes renowned dance troupes. Box offices are located at each venue. Tours of the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall are available to visitors daily as performance schedules permit. The 45-minute, self-guided audio tour, narrated by Emmy- and Tony-award winning actor John Lithgow includes lively interviews from 10 people closest to the creation of the hall, including architect Frank Gehry; Diane Disney Miller, the daughter of Walt and Lillian Disney; and several others. Tours include areas of the venue not open to the public including three levels of the hall, the gardens and aerial pathway. Tours generally do not include the auditorium due to rehearsals. Hours: Most days, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Closed: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is the home of the Los Angeles Opera . The Ahmanson Theatre and Mark Taper Forum are part of the Center Theatre Group. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is the Music Center's fourth and newest venue and home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. The Music Center is located in downtown Los Angeles, bordered by Grand Avenue, Hope Street, Temple Street and First Street. Metro: Dash Routes A & B. Metro train, Red Line, Civic Station. By car: From 101 south, exit at Temple Street. Left onto Temple, right onto Grand Avenue. From Highway 10 take 110 north to the Temple exit. Left onto Temple, right onto Grand Avenue. The Music Center is located between Temple and Second streets along Grand Avenue.
