California Science CenterCalifornia Science Center Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) Organized into themed worlds, the California Science Center is an exciting exploration of science, mathematics, technology and art for guests of all ages. In addition to over 100 permanent hands-on exhibits and a seven-story IMAX Theater, special changing exhibitions occur throughout the year.
General admission to the California Science Center is free to all, with the exception of IMAX and the “Marvel® Super HeroesTM Science Exhibition.” The California Science Center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The Air and Space Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The IMAX Theater is open daily, including New Year's Day. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission to Science Center permanent exhibition galleries is free. Admission prices for the IMAX Theater are based on age group, and discounts are available for groups of 15 or more people. Ticket prices also apply to three Science Center attractions: the High Wire Bicycle, the Motion-Based Simulator and the Cave Climb.
