Formerly an outdoor stunt stage for Universal Studios, Gibson Amphitheatre (Seating Chart) is now a stage for  for performers from around the world and has been the site for events of worldwide interest, hosting a Pope as well as a President.  MTV Music Awards, VH1 Honors, the Academy of Country Music Awards, HBO's Comic Relief and AIDS Project Los Angeles' Commitment to Life events have all shined at Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk.
