Los Angeles Public Library - Central LibraryLos Angeles Public Library - Central Library Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) The historic Los Angeles Public Library, designed by Bertram Goodhue in 1926, is considered by some the center and soul of the city. The building was respectfully restored and expanded in 1993. The tree shaded Maguire Gardens with diverting fountains, public art pieces and restaurants were also constructed at this time. It is a wonderful place to sit, have a snack and savor the city's passing parade and gleaming skyline. Top of PageDo you know of a Place that should be included here?
