Port of Call Los Angeles Red LinePort of Call Los Angeles Red Line Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) The last remnant of the Pacific Electric?s more than 1000 miles of rail lines was abandoned in 1961. Forty-two years later, a small piece of the system has been resurrected in San Pedro, as the Port of Los Angeles Waterfront Red Car Line. The 1.5 mile line connects San Pedro?s cruise ship terminal with other attractions along the waterfront. The Red line serves four stations: The Cruise Center Station at the World Cruise Center, Downtown Station at 6th Street, Ports O' Call Station, and the Marina Station at 22nd Street. Take the 110 Harbor Freeway south to the Harbor Blvd. exit. Proceed straight across Harbor Blvd and park free adjacent to the Red Car Station. If you come west from Long Beach on the 47 (passing over the Vincent Thomas Bridge), you will also exit at Harbor Blvd. A free parking lot is also available adjacent to the 22nd St. Red Car Station, and on-street parking is available in the vicinity of all four stations.
