Santa Ana Zoo At Prentice ParkSanta Ana Zoo At Prentice Park Average User Rating: (0 votes, add your vote or comments) Today, the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park is a nationally recognized zoological garden occupying a unique urban site in the heart of Orange County. But had it not been for a local resident’s fascination with monkeys, and his contribution of 12 acres of orange groves to the City if it would agree to develop and permanently maintain a park containing a zoo for at least 50 primates, the City of Santa Ana may have never had a zoo. The Zoo’s continued emphasis is on small primates representing various species.
