The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA is home to one of the country’s finest collections of American and European art created since 1940. The renowned collection ranges from masterpieces of abstract expressionism and pop art to recent works by young and emerging artists.

Hours: Monday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.; Thursday, 11 a.m.–8 p.m.;
Friday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Closed: Tuesday, Wednesday, New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

By car: From the west: Take the Santa Monica Freeway (10) East. Exit on Alameda and turn left. Turn left on First Street. Use the Advanced Parking System lot on the corner of First Street and Central Avenue.

From Hollywood: Take the Hollywood Freeway (101) South. Exit at Temple Street and turn left on First Street. Use the Advanced Parking System lot on the corner of First Street and Central Avenue.
