Visitors to the Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance leave the premises changed by the experience. “Finding Our Families, Finding Ourselves” is the newest multimedia exhibition at the museum. This exhibit showcases the diverse personal histories of several noted Americans, including Dr. Maya Angelou, Billy Crystal, Carlos Santana and Joe Torre. The exhibit celebrates experiences common to being part of an American family and encourages visitors to seek out their own histories, mentors and heroes. Hours: Monday–Thursday, 11 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Closed: Saturdays, Jewish Holidays, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. By car: From Downtown Los Angeles: Santa Monica Freeway (10) West to Robertson Boulevard. Make a right (north) on Robertson Boulevard to Pico Boulevard Turn left (west) onto Pico Boulevard. From South Bay and Surrounding Areas: San Diego Freeway (405) North to the Santa Monica Freeway (10) East. Exit at Overland/National. Turn right and then right again onto Overland and continue to Pico Boulevard Turn right on Pico Boulevard.
